Review: One for the Money

One for the Money by Janet Evanovich
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I can't tell you how much I love this book! It's witty and hilarious! This is not my first time reading this book and it probably won't be my last. I can't remember where I left off in the series but I'm looking forward to reading them all! Even the ones I've already read. Listened to this a little on audio and I can't say I'm terribly fond of the narration. The story itself was good though. As always!

Review: Writing Great Fiction: Storytelling Tips and Techniques

Writing Great Fiction: Storytelling Tips and Techniques by James Hynes
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really do plan to become a published writer/author one day. I found this very helpful. I'd like to go back and listen to the lectures again as if I was actually taking the class. I'd like to read the referenced reading material and do the writing projects. They seem like they will be a lot of fun. I feel more confident about writing because of this. I'm tempted to recommend it to a lot of people. Not because their writing is bad, but because I feel they could use the confidence too. Fully recommend this for writers!

Review: The Hundredth Queen

The Hundredth Queen by Emily R. King

Kalinda has got to be one of my most favorite characters of all times. Yes she lacks courage and confidence, but with how she was brought up, I understand it. She was so selfless and humble through the whole book. She'd make a great leader because she has the right ideas and values in mind. I adore her. I can't wait to read the rest of this series! Fully recommend!

The Great Ideas of Psychology by Daniel N. Robinson

I love the Great Courses brand! I have many different audiobooks from them. This is my third or fourth that I've listened to so far and all of them have been great. I have learned a lot from listening to them.

This particular one was one of my favorites. This lecturer made all his lectures relatable and understandable. He was even humorous. He managed to keep my attention through the whole thing! I fully recommend this and other courses by Great Courses!

Review: Japanese Fairy Tales

Japanese Fairy Tales by Yei Theodora Ozaki
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I've been wanting to read this book for a long time but never seemed to have gotten the time to. I'm glad I finally got the time now. I actually knew two of these stories. Some of my family lived in Japan for a time and they brought back books for my siblings and I. One of them was because my birthday is in it. Either way, they were great stories and I fully recommend them. I loved the morals in most, if not all, of these.

Review: Rebound

I really can’t lie and say this was my favorite book ever. That wouldn’t be an honest review. This kind of book really just isn’t my thing. However, I can admit that it was a very well written book and the targeted effect is there. I probably won’t continue the series, but I definitely recommend the book for anybody who is interested in this kind of book!

Review: Winter Queen

Winter Queen by Skye MacKinnon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

At the beginning of this book, I won't lie. I didn't love it. It was a very bad disappointment from the first two books. But being optimistic, I decided to stick with it. I'm glad I did. The story was just as intense and thought-provoking as the first two! I can't wait to get the next book in my hands. I fully recommend this book. It's witty and charming and engaging! I recommend reading the first two books first!
